I first came across the Alexander Technique at the age of thirteen, and since then I have found it a powerful tool for personal growth and development.
At university, I studied philosophy, being particularly interested in connections between the mind and body, and how they affect language and communication. I also developed my interest in singing and musical performance.
After finishing my degree at Magdalen College, Oxford, I decided to train as an Alexander teacher. Meanwhile, I pursued a career as a personal tutor, teaching school subjects and languages.
In April 2009 I completed my training with Shoshana Kaminitz in London, having studied under her for over four years.
